A crew's whole day, from the quote to the books.
Clients and their sites, the quote, the job, the crew's phone, the safety check, the invoice and the payment: one console in the trade's own colour, on the same books every NuAi business keeps.
Quote it, win it, crew it, check it is safe, do it, invoice it.

A day at Kestrel
One working day, start to finish.
Kestrel Building Maintenance is our demo business: six weeks of made-up clients, quotes, jobs and invoices, put in through the app's own functions. A real job takes days or weeks; here one is squeezed into a single day so you can see every step. Every screen below is the live system.
-
07:30: A quote goes out
The quote goes to the client with a private link to accept it.

Kestrel's quotes, two still with their clients -
08:15: Accepted, and booked
The client accepts from the link, and the job is booked to their site with a crew and a day in the diary. The technician is told by e-mail.

Kestrel's jobs, each with its site, crew and day -
09:00: No signed check, no start
On site, the crew member answers the safety check for the work at hand and signs it. The database refuses to start the job without it.

Kestrel's safety checks: the questions for each kind of work -
15:30: Invoiced from the job
When the work is done, the invoice is raised from the job itself and posts straight to the books.

Kestrel's invoices -
17:10: Paid from the invoice
The client scans the invoice's QR code and its own pay page opens: they pay by card or instant EFT on your own PayFast account, or by EFT to the bank details printed on it, and can send their proof of payment from the same page.

Kestrel's payments -
After hours: Already in the books
Every invoice and every payment wrote its own journal entry as it happened. Nobody types the books up at month-end.

What a crew runs on it
- Clients and their sites, contacts and history
- Quotes the client accepts or declines from a private link
- Jobs with a crew, a site and a diary day: booked, on site, on hold, completed; the technician is told by e-mail
- A safety check that must be signed before work starts, and stays with the job it was signed on
- The crew's job sheet on their phone, with hours and photos
- Job costing: what a job cost in labour and materials, next to what it earned
- An invoice from the finished job, posted to the books, with its own pay page
- Every change to a job, a quote or its site log kept in the History: who, when, before and after
- A job the office closes without a signed safety check is counted on the Dashboard, so none slips by
- Job Safe: the crew's guide to the OHS Act, the risk assessment, certificates and the papers a client will ask to see
- Your own brochure website with Request a quote: a request lands in your Quotes as a draft, ready to price
Where it stands
Built and walked with FMS MEP, our trades test business, job by job on the live system. The invoice's pay page is walked at our demo bottle store on PayFast's test account; no live card payment yet.
