NuAi
Ai Unified Business Management Software

About

Twelve years in risk and forensics. Then I built NuAi.

This page is the interview you'd want before trusting software with your club: who I am, where NuAi comes from, the company that stands behind it — and the rule this whole site runs on: if we don't have something, we don't claim it.

The background

I spent my career checking other people's records.

Twelve years in risk management, across government and the private sector, as a forensic investigator and compliance auditor, with a background in IT. The last seven years took me to two of the biggest projects in New Zealand — international exposure to compliance, processes and systems.

That work leaves you with a habit you can't put down: check the record, not the story. It also went straight into how NuAi is built. When your job has been finding where systems fail, you build differently — the database refuses what shouldn't happen, instead of trusting every screen to behave.

Where NuAi comes from

Built inside a working club, not a boardroom.

NuAi wasn't drawn up in an office and handed to a development team. It was built and tested on a real operating business — a working till, real stock arriving and moving, real members, books that had to balance that night.

That's where the system's habits come from. Because the till, the stock and the books grew up in the same room, they stayed one system — a sale moves stock, updates the books and earns the member's points in the same breath, and the shop you show the world is the same stock you count at night.

The stance

No fake logos. No staged numbers.

I spent years examining fabricated records — I know what they look like, and what they cost the people who trusted them. So this site holds itself to the rule I'd hold anyone else to: nothing on it is staged.

The claims register states plainly what's in the product and what's still in progress. No logos without permission, no numbers we can't stand behind — and if we don't have something, we don't claim it. The full register is on the records page.

The company

Checkable on purpose.

NuAi is built and operated by Nu Ai (Pty) Ltd, a South African company, registration 2026/305166/07. We act in accordance with POPIA; our Information Officer is registered with the Information Regulator under reference 2026-063674, and I serve as the company's Deputy Information Officer — the duty has named officers behind it, and I am one of them.

Your club's records are held in the European Union (Ireland) under an executed data-processing agreement. How they're kept — and what the database refuses to let happen to them — is a page of its own.

What's next

Cannabis clubs now. Other industries when they've been earned.

NuAi serves South African cannabis clubs first — one industry done properly is worth more than four done thinly. The platform underneath doesn't care what you sell, so other industries will follow in time. For now, clubs have my full attention.

Talk to me

The demo is the interview.

Don't take a website's word for any of this — mine included. Ask me to run the system in front of you, and put to me the questions you'd put to an auditor — I spent twelve years asking them for other people. Then decide.

You'll be talking to me — Gerhardt Fivaz, the founder. No sales team.
